This 9 foot concert grand Baldwin (model SD-10EBY) was manufactured in 1984 and was the 9’ Grand that Baldwin loaned to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center for few years.  The Piano was obtained, with help from the New York State Council on the Arts, by the IMAC Theater in Huntington, Long Is in 1987 and never moved from the stage since then. During it’s tenure on the IMAC stage this piano was played by:
Herbie Hancock, Chic Corea, David Benoit, McCoy Tyner, Dr. John, Phillip Glass, George Winston, Eliane Elias, Liz Story, Philip Aaberg, Sun Ra, Bob James, Brian Culbertson, Joe Sample, Diane Schuur,  Alex Bugnon,  Michel Petrucciani, Phillipe Saisse, Tania Maria, Billy Taylor, Jim Brickman, John Medeski, Keiko Matsui, Henry Butler, and Marsha Ball to name a few.
This piano has pleased audiences for years and has the unusual quality of pleasing both Jazz and Classical pianists.
